do you people want to hear this?

Over the next few months I may be posting more public content, though not on topics I've traditionally covered.

Instead of a personal blog about self-reflection, philanthropy, and acknowledging all that makes us human and applying that to helping others, my content will be more about . . . building AI tech and building a business.

[crowd boos and hisses]

And I'll mostly be doing it on LinkedIn.

[Nate dodges a shoe]

I mean, even a lot of that content will have sprinklings of philosophy, wit, and (very questionable) humor, because I can't be that boring all the time. But mostly it'll probably be about tech that works and doesn't, the ups and downs of running a startup, and other job-related things.

My question for you guys is this: would you prefer radio silence from me here as usual until I have something good to say, or would you like to get a weekly digest of some of the more interesting or insightful things I've produced on the public side during the week?

Reply back and let me know what you think. At the end of the day I'll do whatever I feel like doing, but enough of you chiming in might sway me one way or the other :)

Also it'll be nice to say hi!

Nate

p.s. Obviously the business is YouBots, in case you haven't seen it yet.

Personal Updates Last night I was wondering if, and to what extent, our ever-evolving perceptions and personalities fundamentally change us into different people. I don't have the answers, but I stated the question here: https://natestpierre.me/2025/03/20/time-and-identity/ Lots of questions this week, and just a few answers. But that's how it goes sometimes. is this the same sunset, or a different one? Founder Updates Over the past couple weeks I've added a few short posts to my founder's...

Well friends, the reason I've been so quiet is because I've been working nonstop for 4 months, and today's the day: I'm throwing YouBots.ai out into the world. In November I put together a tiny team to solve a big problem: could we build an AI platform that a small business could easily afford - one that would instantly give them value across all areas of their organization, without anyone on their team needing to know a thing about AI, prompt engineering, or software development? Could we...

I fell asleep last night imagining all of humanity riding on undulating cycles of time . . . never-ending fractals of uniquely expressed lives exploding in diversity, yet all contained within familiar boundaries of rhythm and season. The rise and fall of empire (my favorite art piece, by the way) just a magnified echo of the rise and fall of a single soul. Everything we are, everything we do, never before experienced in this way by these people in human history . . . and yet a nearly carbon...
